TODAY Show App Reviews

I am deleting, Opened it on both my iPhone and my iPad and hate it on both. It has been one of my go to apps every morning because I could quickly scroll down to things I wanted to see and now I rarely look at it because its useless. Sometimes updates are not an improvement, and this is one of those.

I think this app misses the mark, is behind the curve. - The video is extremely slow to upload. - It misses content from the morning. Should go up almost immediately after airing. - Live streaming should be available. Speed it up please.

I used to get caught up on the Today Show news every day. I watch what I can each morning before work, then catch up in the evening or the next day. The update is SLOW, makes no sense, and too many ads.

I loved when I could download the entire first hour of Today as a podcast. Perfect when I did my walk. Now they ruined it with this pathetic fragmented short segments full of ads. I plan to delete it off my iphone. Why did the NBC geniuses ruin what had previously been a great app?? Do NOT use this "new" app. Its HORRIBLE!!!!!

Wont even open on my iPod 4th gen. As soon as I open it it crashes! Guess Ill be deleting it!

You should be able to watch the entire show with just one click. The video is often faulty with no sound or it crashes. Disappointing! I agree with others, watch the entire show in order.

I used to enjoy the Today show, not anymore!! Probably one of the worst talk shows out there!! I still enjoy the news hour but thats it!! The app is even worse!! Cant watch it live, same add after every segment for a minimum of 16 seconds. I wont by renuzit now just because!!! I hope they fix the app and get rid of liberal Tamron Hall!! DELETING

I love the Today Show and wish they would fix their app!! Come on people, you have the Orange Room to promote technology and social websites but your own app doesnt work .. Please fix :)

Garbage!!! A 30 second commercial for every freaking clip. You can even expect a commercial on a 45 second video!!!

This app is horrible. You cant choose what video you want to watch and theyre rarely updated. Fix it or remove it.

Video is not displayed correctly. Its in the middle of the page where the stories are covering half of it.

I listen to the today show on my commute. Im not watching any of the video, but I let the video play while Im driving so that I can hear the news. As a result, my data usage has jumped way high. 3 GB it seems in a week and Im nearly maxed out on my data plan and I still have 3 weeks to go! This is not sustainable. Please add audio version for the first full hour. If u have to add advertisements to the audio version, as well, go ahead but otherwise I will have to get my news from another source that provides audio instead of forcing us to stream video only. Thanks.

So upset with this update. There is a 30 second commercial before every segment...its the worst. Ive never written a review before now, but Im hoping they will hear the feedback. I cant imagine anyone being happy with it.

The display for the video segments are cut off. I only see the button half of the video. Please fix.

This last update is horrible. App crashes after every video -- can only watch one video and then have to restart app. Cant watch videos from the left side either.

I just downloaded the app and tried watching a video, and each time I hit the play button it would crash and send me to my home screen! I even tried rebooting my IPad, and it didnt help. I think it would be a good app if it would stop crashing.

This app is great if you love to watch the same full length 30 second commercial.. Over and over and over again. You would expect u could go a few clips after u sit though it.. But no, u are forced to watch them. This was an easy delete.

Like a breakup that crushes your heart, Im finally accepting that this app will never change. Ive held onto the hope that the developers will improve this app, but now I realize its just the head execs at the today show not wanting to make this work! The app doesnt just crash, it crashes right in the middle of a segment you just watched a 30 sec commercial to see. Dont think you can just re-open and hop to the same point in the movie either. Nope. You have to scroll and search for the segment again, then watch a commercial and pray the video will work on your second, third, and fourth attempt. Give up. Ive reach acceptance. No app should be this bad.
